How NOT 2 Send Stuff

How NOT 2 Send Stuff

(Address is below)

Thanks for sending your unique stuff. We want to answer every question and break everyone's stuff and are trying to manage our work flow better so please:

  • Put your samples in a gallon zip lock bag with your name and where we chatted (email, Instagram, Facebook, etc) on the bag. If it's a big sample, please tape a note to it. We will throw the mailing packaging away.
  • Don't require a signature (if possible).
  • A story is super helpful. We get as stoked as you about the results when we all understand the WHY. Stoke is the secret sauce to the channel. We love the niche, so tell us what's interesting about your gear. Please put that information in the bag or taped to the item. You can also just print our chat/email if you already explained it there. We would like to turn on the camera, open the bag and read what you wrote, snap snap snap, end of video.

STUFF TO BREAK

If we promised to break your gear, there's a chance we'll break it within 3 minutes of opening it or 3 months. Ryan might be doing shenanigans in the mountains or be knee-deep in a 100-hour edit for an upcoming episode. Sometimes it's weird gear that is hard to break and can't just be a simple pull test. Those are always the slowest turnaround times but Ryan and his team will strive to get to it eventually.

INVENTORY

If you are sending your gear as inventory for the lab (which helps to add value to relevant episodes we are working on), it's amazing having a plethora of gear with a varied history to pull from. Bagged or noted helps us remember the history of it and who to credit. But if you don't want credit, please add that to the note as it is our default to say who gave it to us, but it's nice to have your name on the gear so we know where we got it from.

***No "bonus" goodies please. We only want to receive what we agreed to break or store as inventory. Our space and time are limited. Thank you.
