The hanger is still plenty strong though.\u003cbr\u003e**So here's the thing with 8mm (5\/16\") stainless steel wedge bolts. In our 35+ tests of this size bolt, we typically get a range of 22 to 28 kN, with more results sitting in the 24 kN range; and in special cases with a ring nut pulling in tension we've even got 31 kN. Because of this, some other hanger manufacturers for example, will rate their 8mm hole hanger more conservatively to 22 kN. So even though the 8mm hanger is rated to 24 kN, it is really only as strong as the bolt you are using it with.\u003cbr\u003e***You could however get about 30 kN by using a \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/hownot2.com\/products\/316-ss-sleeve-bolt?_pos=2\u0026amp;_psq=sleeve+bolt\u0026amp;_ss=e\u0026amp;_v=1.0\"\u003e10mm sleeve bolt\u003c\/a\u003e which uses an 8mm hex bolt (solid shank), but you'll need to drill a 10mm hole instead.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 0);\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eFactory Seconds (Over-Weld) -\u003c\/strong\u003e These Rings are \u003cstrong\u003eULTRA-WELDED\u003c\/strong\u003e!
