This DaySensor load cell has great specs for the best price we're aware of online.  The load cell we use in our break test machine was $1500 + $400 for the eyes.  This compact unit is 50kN at 3200hz with an external reader that would do most of the testing we do here at HowNOT2.  The LineScale 3i is a great load cell if you want to measure activities as it is an all-in-one without any cables and records internally.  HOWEVER, if you don't need that, you can save half the money on something that is stronger and faster.  It's small in size, roughly the same as a LS3.  Our 5TON SHACKLES (not included) fit perfectly with the eyes that are included.  

--- S-Beam, external reader, & 2 eyes are included.  Shackles are not.
