How NOT 2 LLC is the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand distributor. Linegrip Inc is the European distributor. HowNOT2 sells exclusively in the USA but is excited to partner with retailers in Canada, Australia and New Zealand. We think it can add a lot of value to the customers to be able to buy locally if they choose.
WHO WE ARE
I have known a partner of AWAH for almost a decade and paired him up with Linegrip, who I have also known for over a decade. My audience reaches far and wide within the English speaking world and Linegrip and I are going to invest in the PPE and ANSI certifications. We are now helping at the design stage to make them “fully equipped” or repairable on site, or even hit new markets with a 12-13mm compatible device.
BUSINESS PLAN
The MSRP was designed to be able to give you a 40% margin as a retailer. We can either drop ship directly from China or from our new branch in Taiwan. In June 2025, we estimate we will have Z3-Fire units PPE certified. Our estimate is that we can sell 5,000 units within the first year of unlimited access to product. AWAH’s production bottlenecks should be fixed by June.
WARRANTY
We offer a 1 year limited warranty on AWAH devices and if your customers have any issues, they can send it back to you and you can send them a new one if it cannot be repaired. We would replace that unit for you. If you collect enough damaged units, we may have you send it back to our Taiwan branch. I’ve sold a few hundred Z2Rs and have had 6 sent back to me. Only 2 are legit warranty issues. The others were over used by pulling trees over, left in the rain all season, or dropped 20 stories. We like to take care of our customers! Our logic is that we get enough units to make it worth fixing all at once and sell them as refurbished. We recover our hard costs and every customer is very happy. Having retail partners assist in customer service is our primary goal in our relationship.
OUR TEAM
We have 5 people operating the day to day in our store. We all work through contact@hownot2.com so customers get great service quickly. We are actively looking for a COO and even a dedicated sales rep specifically for AWAH products. Once we have those positions filled, AND we have unlimited access to AWAH products, they can meet with you, share our numbers, spill our secrets on how to sell as many of these as possible. FAQ
Can I order units now?
- As of March 1st, 2025, NOT YET. We don’t have enough for our current customers. They have partnered with an established factory so they can make enough units for everyone. If you are on our retail partner email list, we will keep you updated along the way.
What is the minimum order?
- From China, 12. From our distribution center, 4.
HOW do I order them from you?
- We will soon have official B2B functionality on shopify at www.hownot2.com where it will be as easy as ordering anything online. For now, email a PO to contact@hownot2.com and we’ll send you a draft order with a WISE payment link or wire instructions.
Do you offer terms?
- Not yet. Order a few times from us and we can explore that.
What’s the wholesale price
- $1599 at a 40% margin = $959
- $2495 at a 40% margin = $1497
- We cover the shipping cost. You cover the duties and tariffs.
Is the Z2R certified?
- Linegrip has them CE certified for hauling/lifting items, not for people use. The USA does not have CE requirements so we sell them as they were intended in China but they require PPE if it is lifting a person.
Is the Z3-Fire certified?
- We are submitting for a PPE certification currently. If you are on our retail partner email list, we will keep you updated along the way.
What is the Z3-Prof and are you carrying it
- AWAH intended there to be more differences but at the end of the day, one has a swivel and one does not and the cost is almost identical. We are NOT going to carry or distribute the Z3-Prof.
Is HowNOT2 also selling AWAH products outside of USA?
- Yes, with 160M views last year and 1B estimated this year, our audience is all over the world. We can ship 2-3 days DDP, so we plan on selling them within our distribution area.
Can you be the EXCLUSIVE distributor/retailer in your country?
- It’s the first question everyone asks. No. The reason is because it’s not advantageous to add more middle men than necessary and the idea is to get the devices in front of more people. We believe having more retailer partners rises the tide for everyone.
I'm in the UK or Europe, how do I reach Linegrip, Inc?
Do you have a strict MAPP policy?
- Short answer: yes. Long answer is: there are a lot of ways to add value while keeping the product on the website at $1599USD for Z2Rs and $2495USD for Z3-Fires. We like creativity and can explore that with everyone. If someone doesn’t maintain the price, we wouldn’t sell to them anymore.
Why should I buy from HowNOT2? I could just gray market them.
- You could! BUT… Linegrip and HowNOT2 will have exclusive access to PPE certified units, obviously we wouldn’t warranty it, and you may not easily get the next AWAH devices that are going to disrupt the market. Our goal is to NOT just be an annoying middle man, but I plan on sharing HOW I sell Z3-Fires to my retail partners once we unlock the sauce. Everyone we’ve worked with in the past gets a ton of value being in our ecosystem.
