This solves one of the problems that often arise in the use of ascenders, which have always been designed and functional to climb up, but which become difficult to unlock and which do not allow the double phase. It is enough to insert the rope under the cam into the plate, insert a carabiner, unload the weight for a moment to open the cam, and start the descent as with a normal plate.
