Shipping PolicyDescription & Tech Specs
Climbing Taiwan's accessory carabiner. These are intended to be used with his tool leashes as they are quite small and fit these well. If you're looking for something cheap and light to clip something like a tool or water bottle then these are perfect for you.
Please don't use these for life support!!!
These are small, half the size of a normal carabiner but almost the same size as Edelrid's tiny Nineteen G wiregate.
Here’s Climbing Taiwan’s break test results:
Solid-gate results*: 8.28 kN, 8.85 kN, 8.72 kN
Screw-lock gate results: 10.30 kN
*The solid gates broke about 1 kN less than their rating. We first notice the gate breaking off the nose, then the carabiner body breaks next. They're factory rated at 10 kN, but realistically their MBS should be 8 kN.
