No more drilling needed to place a grigri in the Held Upright position! The GG Modifier helps Lead Rope Solo (LRS) climb with a grigri. It is a glue-on accessory that creates a second attachment breaking at 40-60 kg

Compatible with the Petzl grigri plus, grigri 2019 or grigri 2 (and NEOX). This modification allows a climber to use the device for Lead Rope Solo Climbing. No further modification required! It can be removed if someone wants to return the grigri to the original state.

Safety Notice: Note that Petzl forbids HERE the use of the grigri and NEOX for LRS and it is dangerous to do so. The grigri is unsafe for LRS and the NEOX more so. The GG Modifier does not make it safer. Make sure you get proper training before you decide to LRS with a grigri. Use a backup! Don’t trust your life to a single tool!
