This is a high-quality stainless steel knife intended to be used while climbing.  We don't recommend this knife and don't sell it anymore due to an ACCIDENT that happened to someone in our audience.  If it hits something hard enough, the blade can partially pop open.  The fact that many people use accessory cord in the eye since most carabiners don't fit in the eye, may exacerbate the problem since it is whipping around more.  It's a good knife but it should not be worn on a harness while climbing without a physical way of preventing it from opening.
